Versão em Português As a member of the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida, you have the option of becoming a volunteer in the area of your interest with minimal time commitment. Just check the Committee you would like to participate and fill out the form below. All committee participants must be members of the Chamber. BROWARD - Chairperson: Maria do Carmo Fulfaro Creates events focusing on the needs of the area Membership drives Develops relationships with other chambers of commerce and local organizations COMMUNICATIONS - Chairman: Carlos Mariaca / Co-Chair: Claudio Cury Creation and development of value-added benefits/programs for the members. Supervises all BACCF publications Issues press releases regarding chamber functions; distributes transcripts of speeches, etc. Supervises website Supervises Chamber News Online MEMBERSHIP - Chairman: Claudio Cury Membership Drives Business Card Exchanges New Members Breakfasts Retention of Members through personal visits Renewals PROGRAMS Lines up speakers and topics for monthly luncheons Elaborates special events programs Responsible for social functions Creates new events to promote networking SÃO PAULO - Chairman: Samir Choaib / Co-Chair: Luiz Ernesto Gozzoli Create and develop value added workshops for members Identify workshop topics and speakers Responsible for planning incoming & outgoing trade missions (in conjunction with the Trade Committee) Develop and promote partnerships and opportunities with trade fairs and organizations in Brazil for benefit of BACCF members Develop workshops/breakfasts for BACCF members to promote their business in Brazil Increase membership of Brazilian companies Responsible for obtaining sponsorship for new events and functions Create and evaluate the need for additional sub-committees Create and develop value added benefits/programs for members TRADE - Chairman: Mauricio Gomm dos Santos Create and develop value added workshops for members All events must close with a surplus or break-even Identify workshop topics and speakers Aid the Programs Committee in identifying Luncheon Speakers Responsible for planning incoming & outgoing trade missions Participation in bilateral and regional trade negotiations events - Develop and promote partnerships and opportunities with trade fairs in Brazil and US for benefit of BACCF members YOUNG PROFESSIONALS - Chairperson: Thais Reiss Attract new members to the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida; Increase YPC's awareness; Increase Cross Marketing; Provide educational resources through workshops; Increase Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida's revenue; Create attractive networking events.
